Spring Break with Alicia

It had taken no more than two days for alicia and i to go through all of the fun things at my house.  So we decided to take an adventure into the city.
The first thing we noticed were the clouds overhead, seemed to lay a somewhat cozy blanket over the afternoon sky.  Since the bus stop was jest less than one block away, we decided that a thin sweater would keep us warm until we got to the bus.

"Ding," the bus bell had rang.  We had reached our destination.  Alcicia and I had decided to go the nearest starbucks.

Thirty minutes passed and we had finished our drinks.  Just as we were getting up to leave, a bus lazily drove by.  It was our bus.  Since we were already walking towards the exit, we dacided it would be to awkward to return to our previous table.  So we kept on chugging along.   We walked around taylor plaza we looked for some  place to give us refuge.  It was then when we saw it, one tooth active wear, with big yellow letters 'SALE'.

"Hello, how are you you today," It was the receptionist said with an artificial smile.

"Uh, we're good," I said with a glance at my shoes.

We started looking at clothes, hoping that they would be cute cheap.  That was not the case!  Almost everything was over 50$, except for the occasional headband. I glanced at my phone.  It was 3:20pm.  We didnt have to be at the bus till 3:40, but i would have done almost anything to leave that awful place.  Ten steps out and we began to feel small rain drops falling from the clouds to the ground.

"Oh no, its raining," Alicia said with a frown spread accross her face.

We decided to stick it out.  After all it wasnt raining that badly... yet.  Once we had made it to the streetlights the storm really began to come down.  we sprinted across the street.  In a desperate attempt to find a haven, from the sudden down poor, we found a small tree.

"OK, i think its mostly done." The storm had died down a little so we decided to make another run for the bus stop.  As we ran, we saw other people bikinig and jogging.  They seemed unsurprised by the storms bipolar mood swing.  Once we had begun to near the bus stop we immediately sat on the side faceing south.  It was the closest thing we had to shelter and it worked fairly well.

Five minutes later and the bus finally had arrived at our stop.  We jumped on and rode it home.
